“My goals for birth and recovery were to feel confident. It’s a new experience and I wanted to feel prepared. I also wanted my partner to be involved, and having the chance to participate in the program together was really helpful. We’ve done all the exercises together and used them during birth too.
To be honest, the results were amazing. I had no tear when I gave birth, and I’ve been able to go back to regular activities, including running, after three months. I’m highly confident that the program made a huge difference in all of this.
I had an amazing birth, my body healed so well — and I would definitely recommend the Beyond Birthing Signature Program.”

I went into pregnancy terrified — I had no idea what to expect from birth or postpartum, and I was scared I’d end up like the women in my family who never recovered.
Working with Sophie through her Signature Program gave me the knowledge, the techniques, and the confidence I needed. I laboured at home to 8 centimeters, pushed on my hands and knees, and felt so much better than I ever thought possible. Eight weeks postpartum, all my symptoms are gone and I’m back to everything I did before.

I had very, very little tearing, and with the birth I had, there were some challenges during the final pushing stage, but my recovery was so easy after. I am 100% sure that’s because of the preparation we did together through the program.
Seven and a half months postpartum, I’m pretty much back to normal — back to yoga, going for long walks with my baby in the sling. No issues whatsoever.
The program is so comprehensive that I didn’t have to go and research more information, double check, or spend time looking at other opinions. I was like, okay, I can really trust this.
The results speak for themselves.

“My postpartum #2 was a complete 180 from my first son. I got up out of the hospital, I could walk out, and I was like — wow, I’m not even in that much pain. Me and my husband both were like, wow, I’m just doing so much better than the first time around.
All those exercises I did in the course, they did pay off — I know that’s why my pelvic floor didn’t feel so heavy the second time around and I didn’t have as much pain. Three months postpartum, I can do house chores, cook dinner, take care of my toddler and my newborn — and my body feels great. It literally is life changing.”
Hear her storyMy birth was very quick — which I feel had to do with preparing my body. I did have a significant tear but within two months all symptoms were gone and my tear healed beautifully. At 6 months postpartum, I feel basically like I did prior to pregnancy — no bladder, bowel, or prolapse symptoms, and back to running.
After a traumatic first birth, I was terrified of going through it again. After working with Sophie in her Signature Program, my second birth was four pushes, no pain medication, and I was showering 20 minutes later. I felt like I could run a marathon right after birth.
I ask a lot of my body — the year before giving birth I was training for a half marathon and a CrossFit competition. Five months postpartum, I’ve gone back to essentially every activity with no symptoms. My pelvic floor and core are as strong or stronger than before. I definitely credit that to the Beyond Birthing program.
I only had superficial tearing — I felt really fortunate. My husband felt so much more involved than he anticipated and now tells his buddies with pregnant wives: you need to check out Beyond Birthing’s Program. At 6 months postpartum, I’m 100% back to cross-country skiing, biking and HIIT workouts.
My first birth was an emergency c-section and I was determined to have a vaginal birth the second time. With Sophie’s help I was able to have a successful vaginal delivery with almost no tearing. I truly believe that the perineal stretch helped me to reach my goal, and without Sophie I wouldn’t have known about it.
I am so happy I made the leap to join the Beyond Birthing program. When things did not go as I wished in my birthing plan, Sophie was there to coach me through it. I’m now inspired to be stronger postpartum than I was before pregnancy.
